Course Aims
The session looks at changes to assessment, examines the core principles of effective approaches within schools, explores current research, unpicks the implementation of different techniques/tools and will equip participants to critically evaluate the current position of their own school.
Target Group
This session is aimed at Headteachers and or school leaders with responsibility for assessment across the school or subject leaders who are looking at redeveloping or reviewing their approach

Course Content
The core aims of the session are:
- To examine the background to current changes & the core principles of a robust and effective approach to assessment.
- To explore different approaches to visualising and developing successful assessment approaches.
- To reflect on assessment in action within own school through post session evaluation/auditing.
