An effective, adaptive booster strategy based around the theme of Broomsticks, covering reading into writing, SPAG and high quality word banks which can easily be adapted for whole classes.
The strategy covers a range of different writing genres linked to the same theme and includes immersive text extracts, short stories, activities and IT resources.

The writing focus is based around the theme of Broomsticks – each session lasting 30 minutes and will build towards short pieces of writing across a range of genres. The sessions could be led by a teacher or a teaching assistant.
