Course Aims
Overview
At the end of this course, staff will be able to:
- Understand how important language is to all curriculum areas, and that to succeed pupils need to be able to master language
- Develop a knowledge of the characteristics of pupils with specific learning difficulties (dyslexia)
- Develop practical strategies to deliver inclusive, high-quality teaching and support for children with specific learning difficulties (dyslexia)
- Apply theoretical concepts to their own professional practice
